A campfire warms better than a thick blanket. While a thick blanket can provide insulation and trap body heat, a campfire generates direct heat that can warm a larger area and provide more immediate warmth. The radiant heat from a campfire can also help to warm the surrounding environment, making it a more effective source of warmth in outdoor settings. **
