An Alevi who converts to Islam can still identify as Alevi if they choose to do so. Alevism is a distinct religious and cultural identity, and conversion to Islam does not necessarily erase one's Alevi heritage or beliefs. It is ultimately up to the individual to determine how they identify and practice their faith. Ultimately, the question of who enters paradise is believed to be up to God's judgment, and Alevis trust in God's mercy and justice. **
